Rate my photo, free

Upload a shot: in seconds Framia's AI scores it from 0 to 100 on six criteria and tells you the single change that would improve it most.

Your photo is only used for the analysis: we don't store it and we don't train models on it.

How it works

  1. Pick a photo from your phone or computer. We resize it in your browser before sending it.
  2. The AI rates it the way an experienced photographer would, criterion by criterion, on the same scale the app uses.
  3. You get the score, the band your shot falls in, and the highest-impact tip.

Light

Focus, motion blur, noise.

How to read the score

90+Portfolio grade — Flawless execution and a vision of your own. Rare stuff.
80–89Strong shot — No flaw that weighs on it, a clear idea behind it.
70–79Good — It works: one or two details left to sort out.
55–69Competent — What you were going for shows. This is the band of a good amateur shot — it's where you grow from.
40–54Quick snapshot — The idea is there, but something gets in the way of how the image reads.
25–39Worth reshooting — One big technical problem covers the rest. It happens to everyone — you already know what to fix.
0–24Not this time — This shot can't be saved — the next one can.

FAQ

Is it really free?

Yes: one score per person, no sign-up. To rate more photos and get the full explanation for each criterion there's the Framia app, which is free to download.

What happens to my photo?

It's resized in your browser, sent to our server only for the analysis and then discarded: we don't store it and we don't train models on it.

How reliable is an AI photo score?

It's consistent: a fixed seven-band scale and stated criteria. It doesn't replace your taste. It tells you what works and what gets in the way of how the image reads, so you know where to act.

Is 60 a bad score?

No. 55 to 69 is a good amateur shot: what you were going for shows. Above 80 are strong photos, above 90 portfolio grade, and that's rare.
